Privacy Policy

This policy explains exactly what DramaVerse stores. It is deliberately short, because the site collects little.

Without an account

You can watch without giving us anything. Your device stores your viewing progress, saved list, likes, language and theme locally in your own browser — that data stays on your device and is never uploaded. A cookie records when your first visit began, which is what decides how much you can watch before signing up.

With an account

We store your email address, a display name if you provide one, and your password as a salted PBKDF2 hash — never as plain text, and we cannot read it. Signing in sets a cookie identifying your session.

Usage data

We record which titles are played, searched for, liked and shared, along with the time. This is aggregate product analytics used to decide what to feature; it is stored on our own server and is not sold, shared or sent to advertising networks.

Third parties

The site runs behind Cloudflare, which processes requests and may log IP addresses for security and delivery. Video and images are delivered from the publishers' own networks, so those providers see requests for the media you play.

This site uses Google Analytics to measure visits and traffic sources. It sets its own cookies and sends Google your IP address (truncated, as we enable IP anonymisation), the pages you view and general device information. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on or any tracker-blocking extension.

Your data

Email [email protected] to request a copy of your data or its deletion, and we will action it. Clearing your browser storage removes everything held locally.
